The best tip I got was back in college, if you want to be a good writer you have to be an equally good reader. Don't discriminate either. My vocabulary shot up when I took reading more seriously. I guess the only issue for me is organizing my thoughts to put the story together. I got lots of novel ideas in my head.
This is the epitome if giving advice you don't take yourself. But if you wanna write something then start with a sentence, even if you're stuck on that sentence you started something. If you add more sentences around it you'll suddenly start to develop something.
I think its best to read a lot of books, listen to speeches and aquire fundamental knowledge on a variety of topics and then expand on that knowledge as you drill into an area of expertise. Alot of it is just imagination though.Do you write any stories? Im trynna do it but sometimes i feel like im lacking vocabulary or something, and i got no stimulants![]()

Starring Chris.bI'm thinking of writing an erotic novel: The c00n that sat by the lake.
The c00n meets a virtuous woman, who teaches him to abandon his alpha c00ning ways, by ANY MEANS NECESSARY![]()

Im not really trying to publish it, unless i could use a fake name or whatever, im just thinking about writing some random stories and put it online
thx for the tipHelium.com is a good place for placing stories online with feedback. You can get some money too if you join the frequent contests or branch out to articles vs short stories. They pay by clicks I think. Either way your story would get rated by other writers and you can submit re-writes then they rate your old vs new work.
