Is there anyone out there that dislikes Daniel Bryan?

I just hate his fans crying about him being buried every week meanwhile nikkaz like zach ryder and miz barely get TV time:russ:

I don't think they really know what that word means

This right here. Some of his fans have a smug, "I know wrestling better than you" attitude, but that's no fault of his own.

DBry is great, he's a fantastic technical wrestler, good athleticism, connects well with the crowd, and his mic skills aren't that bad either. I wish WWE would give him a "wrestling machine" persona similar to Chris Benoit of Angle in his later WWE years. The anger management stuff and all the goatface shyt was cringeworthy.

I've noticed this as well, but they never flat out say he's terrible or hate on him. They're just trolling to troll.

The Macho Man comparison was on point.
And its always the same 3-5 people. Only person that should be legit happy is gizzle cause of his stanship

No one does but I guess its easy to make fun of the posters who use the word "buried" too often. Bryan hasnt been buried. Hes underpushed. Ryder has been buried.

He definitely hasnt been underpushed....how many wrestlers have been pushed consistently harder than he's been? There's a reason why hes over.

Ive seen this with Benoit, Eddy G, Jericho....their fan boys are just so relentlessly obnoxious and over the top. They demand that their guy receive a push akin to a combination of Goldberg, Hogan, and Stone cold steve austin, and anything short of that is some JFK level conspiracy against their man. Its this idealization of their guys, where they have no flaws and are perfect in every way.

DBry was a ratings flop as a main guy, is poor on the mic relative to being the top guy, and looks like he works at Geico (minus the beard). But of course there is never any room to have reservations about an internet god being a top guy, or to critique him. Just give him the world or else.

The funny thing is that his most ardent supporters seem to spend so much time obsessing over his push, and bitterly attacking Triple H, Vince, Steph, and God himself every time he takes a drop kick, that they seem to miss out on actually enjoying the wrestler they have such unwavering adulation for.

He's too good for that. Bryan is a better professional wrestler than Angle. Angle is basically a spot worker compared to Bryan, Eddie, and Benoit. He's done so many illogical things in his most famous matches I don't know how dudes don't' have a thread on his goofiest match moments yet.

The thing about Kurt Angle is he's legitimately charismatic and was good at comedy heel work.

RG are you sure about that, from when angle came in he was on fire, great matches

i stopped watching wwe around 2007/8 but i came back to it last year and bryan still aint stood out to me as a heavyweight guy yet, the skills just aint to par with the early 2000 guys

He wasn't on fire. He needed alot of help and alot of top guys not being selfish for him to stand out. He was a good comedy guy on the mic but Rock had no ego and let him look a certain way. He was pushed hard against Cripple H and Stephanie...he had good chemistry with Benoit and Jericho but almost everyone had good chemistry with those two in that timeframe. He was given a huge push though..he was given the belt by October, was put over the Undertaker and Cripple H in defenses...so he had it pretty easy for awhile.

Skills wise? When it comes to Danielson, his best ring stuff can go tete to tete with Kawada, Misawa, Benoit, Mysterio's prime, etc. This guy was doing 45-50 minute classics like it wasn't shyt in 2006. CM Punk's ENTIRE hype comes from jacking Bryan's gimmick from that timeframe.

I wonder if they will ever let Bryan use "I have till 5". I know he has before in the E but more often I mean. Last time I remember seeing it was his feud with sheamus

bullshyt, Angle had it, he put up good matches with the rock and stone cold too, even around 2002-2005 angle was top selected out of the bunch

show me a bryan match from the last 3 years that prove he is a top card heavyweight guy

Go check out Bryan/Cena Summerlsam 2013 and Angle never had shyt. He was no draw or anything like that. He had a catchphrase, talked about the medals alot, and who didn't put up good matches with the Rock and Stone Cold?

Angle in 2002 was good but was he outranking Hogan, Rock, Lesnar, or the NwO that year? Not quite. He was definitely on fire as a worker that year though. Benoit came back past Summerslam and never missed a beat.

Daniel Bryan is the Crystal Dragon Jesus of Wrestling.

In the future, half-assed "Sports Entertainers" will wipe their feet before they get in the squared circle as to not sully Daniel Bryan's Holy Temple.
