He definitely hasnt been underpushed....how many wrestlers have been pushed consistently harder than he's been? There's a reason why hes over.

Ive seen this with Benoit, Eddy G, Jericho....their fan boys are just so relentlessly obnoxious and over the top. They demand that their guy receive a push akin to a combination of Goldberg, Hogan, and Stone cold steve austin, and anything short of that is some JFK level conspiracy against their man. Its this idealization of their guys, where they have no flaws and are perfect in every way.

DBry was a ratings flop as a main guy, is poor on the mic relative to being the top guy, and looks like he works at Geico (minus the beard). But of course there is never any room to have reservations about an internet god being a top guy, or to critique him. Just give him the world or else.

The funny thing is that his most ardent supporters seem to spend so much time obsessing over his push, and bitterly attacking Triple H, Vince, Steph, and God himself every time he takes a drop kick, that they seem to miss out on actually enjoying the wrestler they have such unwavering adulation for.
Hes the most popular guy on the roster and has been for quite some time and still hasnt gotten a storyline where he retains the upperhand where he comes off legit. The only reason he looks as legit as he is is because of the chants and one win over Cena.

No one is asking for an undefeated streak were asking for one good run with the top belt and just something different for a change and somehow thats asking for too much?

Ratings again huh? Ratings slide all the time. Look at last mondays. And plummet is strong. I love the hypocrisy when the ratings slide a bit on WWE if its a "proven draw" it goes ignored but if its a new guy then they are the problem? Orton is champ and has turned in embarassing buyrates and sliding ratings for almost 6 months now. So what?Still dont care about ratings, its not a legit argument.

He wasnt in the Royal Rumble breh. One of the biggest matches of the year. He wasnt announced, fine, I gor plenty out of his match with Bray and im good with that and the storyline he was in. But if I want one of my favorite wrestlers to have a run ill be vocal about it. Never asked for the world, just for the most over guy on the roster to actually succeed.

But is he as good as "Stunning" Steve Austin? That would be a good launching point for him to develop.
As a performer, he's on Stunning Steve's level. People forget how good Austin was in the ring before he lost his mobility. However Bryan needs more than a Yes chant to be the man like Stonecold and The Rock was. The Rock and Austin's crowd control was :wow:

There is no one like Stone Cold and the Rock...they beat the NwO, Goldberg, Hogan, and Sting. they are legendary. They saved the WWF where Bret and Michaels failed. But Bryan does have good crowd control so let's not throw salt on him like that.

I don't dislike his matches
and from what I've read/observed, he put in that work to get to where he is
but
them "yes" chants are gay as hell
that thing with hugging kane was :patrice:
his stans are worse than juggalos
and
his face looks like chewbacca's pubes

When I was like 20 I found myself and some friends at an indy event and D-Bry was fighting Homicide. I saw some of Bryan's work but never gave it a second thought, I wanted Homicide to win but after watching the match live... Bryan was incredible. He made me a fan and I been ridin with him ever since :salute:

Watching old wrestling clips is depressing...Gdamn Rock make a brotha nostalgic.

"I never had sex with a woman before."

Wow.

That's magic. He's like "how can I move the crowd?" like Rakhim.

Heroes don't back down. In fact, heroes confront conflicts and they accept challenges. Damn, Austin vs. Rock was always a TOP 5 feud.

Austin tried to punk the Rock big time when he came back from the neck injury in 2000 post Unforgiven....he said something on Raw, "when I found out tonight who ran me over, someone getting their ass whooped" "Oh the Rock knows you're gonna whoop someone's ass tonight, no doubt, but you won't be whooping the Rock's ass" and he stepped right up to him and the crowd popped huge..he slowly backed out of the locker room. Don't ever remember Austin doing that and that's when you KNEW things for his character wasn't ever gonna be the same again.

It's one of those September/October Raws in 2000...damn I forgot which one. They kept trying to point the finger at the Rock..even Michaels came back to point the finger at him out of the blue and the crowd no sold it and chanted Rocky over all of the bullshyt. It's funny.
