When I was a k-12 teacher I only made $35,000.

The sad thing is when I was a full doctoral student I brought in over $40,000 from grant support...untaxed income:picard:and got bumped with another grant payout to $57000

Imagine making more as a damn student than somebody with an entire career.:deadmanny: Our entire system is fukked up.:snoop:

I live like I make $25k a year. I'm frugal as hell.
The more money I've made, the more frugal I've gotten.
This is the real deal. No matter how much you make, if you live below your means, you'll be fine.

I know people pulling in over six figures and still
Have NOTHING at the end of the month b/c their spending habits just keep matching any increases in their pay.

Its hard to save making under 50k i would imagine.

How many years do you have to save to buy a 300k house at that rate? You would probably need 25k at closing.

Damn, i feel like after paying rent, car note, bills, 50k looks more like 5k

How about living in a city where 300,000 can get you nothing and rent is nearly 2,000 a month

Thats a situation that I refuse to be in: buy more because I make more. Less than half of my check goes to bills, I throw the rest in the bank and treat it like it doesn't exist, leave out $250-300 and live off that for two weeks.

I'll take money out to invest and shyt like that, but I don't use it for clothes, shoes and shyt. I save money in advance for frivolous spending.

Spoken like someone who has been assimilated and Europeanized. Did you really just say "Especially in AmerkiKKKa"? Says that you understand what white supremacy is,but everybody just needs to pull themselves up by the bootstraps:mjpls:

I make less than 50K a year, but since I won't be staying in this demonic country,I will be able to retire in about 10 years while the rest of you toil to be a bigger cog in the white supremacy system:respect:

You nikkas be trying too hard sometimes. :comeon:
Spoken like an IMMIGRANT. :comeon:

If your not doing better than your parents or whoever raised you, they literally failed you and their future generation.

America is literally the land of opportunity and excess, if I was to do the shyt I do here in America instead of Canada, I'd be making as much as 3x more money, easily.

People do it all the time. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and say is that purchase even necessary?!

Everybody on that "treat myself" energy. Be broke no matter HOW much money they got. I've seen this upfront and personal with a very close friend.
