Is there anyone over 30 making less than 50k annually on here?

I'm sure there are. They don't want to admit it, though.

if so do you feel like a loser?
Why would one feel like a loser based on how much money he makes?
How do you go on vacations and buy things you like while saving money?
Vacations don't require lots of money and buying things one likes isn't impossible
Do making around you peers make you feel invaluable?
If your self worth is determined by how much you make then you allow the possibility to become worthless (job loss)

Here we go :mjlol:

Disclaimer: 50k in all markets are not equal. For instance 50k is a very comfortable life thru much of the south while 50k will have you living like a bum in nyc or sf....

A better measure of success would be, how do you stack up against the median income for your area and your field..

(Waits for someone to say im mad, and i must not make 50k :sas2:)

Definitely more than half the United States, honestly, 52k is the median household income here in the US, and a good chunk of that are dual-income households.
And that would be above average here in Ohio.

Depends on your situation

50K in a state like Texas with no wife and/or kids, you can live like a king
50K in a state like Texas with a wife and kids + her income could be :ehh:

50K in a state like California with no wife and/or kids could be okay if you save w/no perks whatsoever
50K in a state like California with a wife and kids is pretty much homeless shelter life

I make $24,400 a year. Nope
The same way everyone does, savings and sacrifices.
Invaluable to what? I don't know anyone with a job with any real value. If you're not some type of surgeon, your job isn't really valuable, IMO.
