Idk breh that seems like a personal issue. Nothing to do with you being conscious. You turn women and people off because of the way you are, not what you believe in.

I suggest you seek therapy, seems like you're dealing with some underlying issues.

Here's an extreme example: cult leaders. They're batshyt crazy and have people, especially women, willing to lay down their lives for whatever dumb ass batshyt crazy shyt they believe in. Why? Because they're likable people

See this what I’m talking about you gaslighting me and talking to me with a condescending tone suggesting that I have underlying psychological issues because i notice a pattern of black men having to acquiesce or be less vocal about the issues effecting us and the black community for fear of being radical or “militant” and imma good looking in shape dude that fukks mad hoes bro lol

It’s extremely difficult to navigate this terrain with knowledge of self as a black man because it turns women off (Black, White, Or Hispanic) nothing gets a bytch p*ssy dryer than a black man speaking about systematic racism, it has alienated all of my friends because they think you’re too militant and you become the butt of all the Farrakhan Malcolm X dusty Hotep Jokes

The black man that understands the black community is desperate for true leadership and recognizes that opportunistic charlatans like Umar Johnson (Political) Tariq Nasheed (Knowledge) Boyce Watkins (Financial) Dr Sebi (Medical) have recognized the void and takes advantage and exploits all the while victim blaming and gaslighting the community

The black man who recognizes that altruistic “Black leadership” is dead along the lines of MLK Malcolm X Marcus Garvey etc... have been replaced by compromised double agents

The black man whose objective enough and knows his history enough to criticize democratic leadership and neoliberalism and recognize it’s insidious effects on the black community as well as lambasting conservative republican ideals and respectability politics

The black man that recognizes the black community is matriarchal and matrilineal and understands it’s effects on black male adolescence who are deprived of positive black role models and if you criticize the black women and her alliance with white feminism and it’s ideals you are gay or hate your mother

The black man that recognizes white supremacy is the root cause of black violence in the black community but doesn’t absolve black accountability in it’s perpetuation of said violence without being a “c00n”

I'm not attacking you with this because me myself have been called exactly what you're describing but, if you read your post, that hypothetical person probably comes off as a know it all.
And of course that will alienate people.

But I do agree to an extent with you.

One of the short hand rebuttals I've had thrown at me personally is "Why don't you get one of those podcasts them and share your wealth of knowledge then, _______? So busy judging that you won't make a Mr. Perfect Podcast!"

This was because I told my sister after she vented to me about her baby father "that sucks, but who didn't see this coming?".

Maybe that was callous of me(I love my neice to sunshine smiles), but how long can you bytch about a situation that has played out innumerable times around you, but you walked into knowingly?

Also, don't conflate knowledge with emotions. Especially as a black man it can be very easy to get wrapped up in a defeatist low self-esteem mentality when you know what the system is. You need an extremely good grasp of your mental health or you will lose it and snap.

You need to find purpose and unless you're able to really to go that far - just acknowledge it, stand up for what you believe in, and find your lane. Accept the fact that there is only one way that path will lead you down and 99.9% can't go that far because deep down you can't make that sacrifice. That is where the frustration comes from.

The most powerful thing a conscious black man can do in this society is create and raise a black family.

These are simply facts. What you choose to do with them is up to you.

You took that as a personal attack, there is no need to be defensive. I am not gaslighting you. I understand exactly where you are coming from - see my second post.

Look breh you either read between the lines or not. Look below what he's saying and really understand what's going on. When you truly understand this system, how it works, and how we got here. You will know where the frustration is coming from. As black men we are forced to live in two worlds. The reality and what we tell ourselves to keep moving forward.

To some that would be considered “woke”

True. But I think OP means being woke as in trying to fix the mess that no one wants to clean.

@Jesus Bhrist take what happened to Nipsey and learn from it. There is no more black "community" .. you can be a black man who's made it out the struggle and trying to help others do it and all you end up with is bullet holes and a kick to the head. That's how they did that man. That was the end of his journey. shyt is still sad AF to this day. The shyt is a lost cause. Most black folks that make it out of the struggle had an individualist mindset and mentality.

We were sold by our own people and they brought us here to be slaves. Created a class system where we were forever be at the bottom. Killed our people when they started to create their own wealth. Convinced the black woman into fighting for something she never been apart of. A bunch of other shyt….

:mjtf: Then stfu itt, then.

That's like me coming into one of these many :comeon: tlr threads about yall dikks. And i know more about dikk than you know about the topic of this thread. :coffee:

According to you, who's never met me or talks to me, idk shyt. I know enough that playing victim and blaming white supremacy forever ain't gonna work. You can read a bunch of books about the stock market and still be broke. As a black man who's grown up in Brooklyn and grew up around these hoods and black communities, I'm allowed to speak my piece. There's a lot of brehs in here on that "woke" shyt that grew up in the suburbs around cacs and never had to deal with no real shyt, go dismiss them.

He was still on that street shyt. He should have never been concerned with shyt that wasn’t about what he was doing. shyt he didn’t even need to be there.

Then don't speak on it :mjtf:

Woke nikkas need to stop trying to "woke" everyone else up. It's no different than Jehovah witnesses always trying to spread "the truth." Just live ya life and stop worrying about things you can't change. You gonna be stressing forever trying to fix the black community.
