If he got one more ring I would take him over Bradys 4.

Every year he gets weaker. Depends on the pieces around him.

Looks like it :francis:

If he doesn't play another game this season he'll be back next year. :francis: He cares too much about his records. They're the only thing that keeps him in the conversation of being the goat. You think he gonna finish his career being tied with Favre in career wins? :mjmuttley:

The GOAT gets to go out on top in his last season...

This shyt today proved the point that winning a Superbowl is about more than anything that one player can do or not do... Winning a Superbowl is about team. 30+ key guys.

2 years ago when at 37 years old Peyton Threw for 5,500 yards and 55 TD's and set the Single Season record for both marks... But lost the Superbowl, it all meant nothing and he was a loser right?

This season was his worst ever, yet in the end he's got another Ring and Lombardi Trophy and gets to go out as a World Champion.

Is there anyone in the world who thinks Peyton Manning was a better player this year than he was 2 years ago?

Of course not.

Yet two years ago he was a "loser". This year he's a Champion.

The perfect example of why measuring who is the GOAT QB or not simply based on Rings is retarded. RETARDED. Period.

Peyton Manning(along with Dan Marino) was the Greatest player to ever play the Quarterback position. And what happened today had absolutely zero affect on that whatsoever.

Sure, he can now claim some things that nobody else who has ever played this game can(only QB to ever Win a Super bowl with 2 teams, oldest QB to ever Win a Superbowl).

But is Peyton Manning a geater player today than he was yesterday? No.

Stop letting the ring bullshyt dominate the conversation.

In Football, no one man can win a game.

In the end, he rides off with every Passing Record in the Book, 5 NFL MVP's, and you can now add 2 Rings to that if you like.

Hate on that man. But he's the GOAT. The thing is, he was long before today.

It obviously is. He just doesn't want his retirement to overshadow the victory. He'll announce it in a few weeks.
