Spurs moving to their stadium in the Premier League Cash Money era is very different to when Arsenal moved in 2006. Dein was let go, we had horrible sponsorship deals, no huge TV money, rise of Chelsea and City. Oh and he had to transition from an older squad to a younger one. Plus giving Wenger complete control was horrible - his job should be to manage exclusively.

The Arsenal board fukked Arsenal more than Wenger in that period. Arguably set the club back.

From 2011 onwards that’s on him, especially the last 3 seasons.

As a lifelong Arsenal fan and a big supporter of the manager, it pains me to admit that Wenger’s time is up. That is apparent.

What I don’t condone is the abuse from fans/media and this “Wenger Out” nonsense. Any Arsenal fan that runs with that narrative is completely ignoring all that Wenger has done for the club over his 20 + year reign.

He is the most successful manager in club history. his ability to not only keep Arsenal afloat after the move to the Emirates, but keep us in the CL all Those years despite being forced to sell our top players is quite remarkable. He revolutionized the English game (opening the door for man like Pep to burst through), the Invincibles, FA Cup glory, one of the first to scout Africa and bring top talent to a big club with open arms. And the list goes on.

No, his list of accomplishments don’t feature 10 Premier League titles or a European trophy (always wished he was able to get one). Yes these last 2 seasons have been a huge disappointment, but people shouldn’t ignore the fact that Wenger is a huge driving force behind the global brand that is Arsenal today.

I wish he was able to go out on a high on his own terms, but that won’t happen. He loves the club and he is a competitor. But like they say, all good things must come to an end.
Wenger get treated a hell of a lot better than other managers at similar clubs. most fans didn't want him fired after going like 7 years without a trophy. What other big club would allow that. He's been treated too well imo.

:mjlol: Deluded as fukk.

Not really, Wenger should’ve won 3-4 more titles.

2002/03 - Choked the Title Away
2008/09 - Eduardo
2010/11 - League Cup Disaster
2013/14 - Top of the league for long stretch of the season
2015/16 - Leicester City

Could even include the year we gifted United Van Persie and the league.

If Henry didn’t bottle 3 chances, Wenger wins a CL title.

This squad hasn’t been coached, should be top 4 easily. We have no structure at all and we have wasted the prime years of too many.

Montez i like you but i have to say arsenal time is over. You guys will go through a dark period now and will be the real king of north london. Im still shocked how we even lost you guys earlier in the season.

It's mutual bro, :salute:

It's possible, I can't make the estimation until I know the manager. If we get Ancelotti, yeah we done. A great young manager, I could see us back in the top 4 2-3 years. We have a decent front office now, decent scouts.

Plus the league has so much transition now.

bullshyt. do you know how many times Arsenal could have won the league if Wenger was willing to fix one glaring weakness in his team in the transfer window??

You think buying a defender would gloss over the fact that; they've lacked the collective spirit of hunting in packs like the Arsenal teams of old?

Look AW loathes defense and physical play, that's Aresnal's real problem all great sides have to be able to roll up their sleeves and get grimy, it's not like they don't have players that can do that, it's just AW's ideology that is at fault, he says you can't go out and find another Adams or Dixon (that 30 yard back pass never gets old), which is true to an extent, but is also a deflection, there are defenders all over the place good to great defenders, Arsenal's scouts are some of the best in the sport there's nothing stopping them from going out and getting one, but even if they did; it still wouldn't fix the fact that AW's approach to the art of defending is shocking.
