YOu are attempting to take human inventions and apply them to something that we dont really understand. Its an invented variable, that does not make it real buddy. Its just something we invented for making predictions, and observing cycles. A cycle does not always indicated time...its merely an indication of order.

OK man, whatever you say man

i'm going to make this quick you know but i got something to say about this.lol

This Johnkool reminds me of my friend when i was 17. One day i was going out to go chill and my friend had picked me up, i get in the car and i told him wassup, then i was like man i just finished reading this crazy shyt about eastern philosophy which connects with the story of the matrix, which was Zhuangzi’s Butterfly Dream. And he got super upset telling me why are you reading that junk dont get into the bullshyt i was like man chill it's just something i was reading. I always remember this. They did not want me to wakeup to this "bullshyt". This the same nikka when i was 14 i was like man life really feels like a dream and he was like yeah and kind of shrugged me off. They take offence when you talk about this stuff. They act like fascists. Ever since i can remember i always have Deja vu and i always felt like my life is a dream like everything dont seem real. I dont know if it's because of who i am or my sickness but my life has always felt like a big dream, not because of what i been thru, but just my life.

Had to write this quick cus I was eating bk.lol

Actually not, that wouldn't mean you are in the past, at the very most it would mean you are perceiving the past

Another question, how can you prove for a fact what you said is indeed true, that by the time your senses process something it has already passed, explain how you would prove that to be true?

Actually yes.

You can only be where you perceive you are.

Perception takes time....no matter how fast it is....it still takes time.

Google how fast it takes for brain synapses to fire.....they are extremely fast.

Things may seem to be instantaneous...but it's not. Time has elapsed.

And if time has elapsed. It's the past.

Albert Einstein's quote "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one"

You didnt follow your analogy all the way through
It would be like saying the giraffe doesn't exist unless we call specifically call it "giraffe", which is clearly ridiculous

No, the "giraffe" still exists, but that name is essentially not it's reality. The animal just is what it is.

:dwillhuh:

U mean well but actually the present is the only moment that does exist

the past and future are what does not exist

No. The present is gone by the time you are aware of it. We live in the very recent past.

And that very recent past is different for everyone. #Relativity.

Present is an illusion. Just as much of an illusion as touch. You never actually touch anything.

Reflexes. Where you move before being aware of it. That shows the awareness limit.

Moving something in and out of our field of vision very quickly will also identify how long something has to be there before we are aware of it. Anything above that speed is de-facto faster than our awareness time.

Hair loss, wrinkles, and grey hairs are an illusion :usure:

The direction of time and being fixed at a point in time have nothing to do with ageing. As timeless creatures we could navigate all ages. Or at least our conciousness could.

NB. I am sure this will be explored in TENET the movie.
