Eye test tells me Elway or Young. Numbers tell me Montana, Brady or Bradshaw. Taking nothing away from Brady but Bradshaw won four in six years and like Montana was undefeated in the Super Bowl. Just saying. Brady a bad dude though. I must add, however, the most ardent Brady sycophants must acknowledge he is a lucky dude. Much of that luck has been mentioned already. Malcolm Butler gave him immortality because 4>>3. Some of the same people who mitigate LeBron's greatness by bringing up Kyrie, Wade, or Ray Allen, don't acknowledge Butler, Adam, or the great defense that put the the breaks on that high scoring Rams team for his first win. He def top 3 though.

Tom Brady

1st Super Bowl: Only reached it because of the nonsense Tuck Rule. And only won by a late field goal over the Rams.
2nd Super Bowl: Carolina Panthers kicker John Kasay kicked the ball out of bounds (something that almost never ever happens) in the final minute, giving the Patriots the ball at the 40. They won by a late field goal.
3rd Super Bowl: Eked out another 3 point win against a less-than-100% Terrell Owens who was beasting. Donovan McNabb had the testicular fortitude of a 12 year old girl and blew it for the Eagles.
4th Super Bowl: A 4-point win over the Seahawks due to the single worst call in recorded human history.

Two Super Bowl losses to Eli Manning; a player so universally despised by fans around the country that he might be the 1st quarterback with 2 Super Bowl rings to not make the Hall of Fame.

Tom Brady as the best quarterback ever?

And they taped the Rams walk through and the Steelers defensive signals in the SB and AFC conference championship in the tuck rule year. Last 3 games of their first championship run are all fishy.

All factually in correct. You're worse with sports than politics. I didn't think that was possible.

It's really just between Montana and Brady at this point.

But given the choice, any QB if Belichick is coaching.
Not really. U or no one can sit here andtell me Brady is a better qb then montana. Hell brady isn't even better the aaron rodgers. Brady is only in the goat conversation because he plays qb with the patriots who is coaches by the greatest coach of our time. Sure Brady is good but hes not asked to do much in beli's system. On top of that, hes always had a solid team around him.

Everybody talks about Belis system but Brady has won in many different ways.
Run first
Deep passing
Double tight end
Dink and dunk

But if we're talking about systems, wouldn't Montana be the ultimate system QB? Didn't Walsh start the west coast offense?

This is low-hanging fruit troll bait. People basically got sonned into silence over this nonsense and stopped saying it about 5 years ago. Like, there's literally a window in SOHH/Coli history where this stuff was refuted so thoroughly that you got clowned for posting it ever again. Maybe you missed the era.

You're a good poster on many things, but your football analysis is always sounds like ESPN talking points. You literally just (a) repeated an unfounded bunch of bullshyt about the Pats filming walkthroughs and supposedly stealing Steelers signals and (b) said "tuck rule" and Vinatieri as if those are actual things that detract from Brady. It's not even worth explaining how flawed that nonsense is at this point. It's tiring.

Anyhow, Montana's SB performance puts him over Brady for now. If Brady wins again then he's the GOAT. His overall resume is more impressive. BTW, I have no idea why you thought that I didn't think you would post that neg. I want you to attempt your "you're just biased and I'm reasonable" shtick again....it's been awhile. :manny: But I have a feeling you're going to have to go with the "I was just trolling you and I know better" angle because the facts are not on your side.
