In certain parts it is. Replaced some of the taxi drivers where I used to stay. Don't know if its still booming though, because I moved.

Uber is pretty big here. I was in ATL last week and took two of them. I think it's set to blow in the next year or two. Taxi's will be done everywhere outside of NYC.

Uber is kinda mandatory in these here parts. From what I've seen, people don't fukk with cabs no more with their inflated rates and submlinal nature.

It's huge in the population center, entertainment district and around the Uni, $5-$10 instead of $25... on top of that you have the uber black car & 7 passinger SUVs you can split with your group. Taxi is looking real these days.


Around New Years we randomly got scooped up in an '07 Quattroporte still under uber x... I looked at my phone screen like when it confirmed the car on the way
