about to marathon vikings…I watched the first season a long time ago but never followed up on the series after that…spartacus probably one of my top 5 shows…I’ve watched the entire series like 4 times…I really liked the graphic violence and sex…but on top of that it was a good story with great characters…just wondering beforehand how vikings compares in that respect

ya the reason why I held off on the series after watching the first season when it aired was I felt it was a bit watered down for a series about a group as notoriously violent/destructive as the vikings…then I found out there’s actually an uncensored version of the series that aired in europe…but there was literally no way for me to access it/get a hold of it…I’m finally saying fukk it and just gonna watch the US version

Spartacus is superior. I fell off Vikings but weird thing is I'm okay with it's spinoff Valhalla and even looking forward to the next season tomorrow so I'll probably go back to finish Vikings one day 
If you haven't watched The Last Kingdom yet I'd get on that asap, movie is also coming out this year. You'd mostly likely enjoy the main characters there more. Fellow Expanse breh @Neo The Resurrected ONE will probably back me.

ironically I bailed on spartacus twice…I couldn’t make it past the first 2 eps which looked so cheap but folks insisted I stick with it…easily became one of my most enjoyable shows to marathon…the episode that made me realize ok I’m absolutely gonna stick with this show is when him and crixus teamed up to beat the “giant” even tho crixus got fukked up pretty badly during that fight

I haven’t given “the last kingdom” a fair chance…I think I watched like an ep or two…it’s one of those series like vikings where I just need to revisit it
I remember Vikings had too many dead moments which might be why I fell off. TLK had better pacing, the first three seasons there's barely any filler so I was locked in by the time Uhtred meets Alfred in episode 2. Uhtred's friendships/crew, his motivation, his complex relationship with King Alfred, struggles as a Saxon raised by Danes, the humor, emotion, and even soundtrack appealed to me more.
