Virginia was home to two confederate capitals so yeah. It’s the south breh.
Hell yeah it is. I'm from NYC but last year I went to Virginia Beach and that was the first time in my life that I ever saw Confederate merchandise being sold in public

NoVa is say northern but once you get an hour south of that your in the south with overt racism.

I live in North Carolina, but I've met people from VA, DMV or whatever and they be country as fukk. Then my homeboy who is from VA Beach has a totally different accent. That's how it is here in NC. I'm 3-4hrs from VA, and 3-4hrs from Atl. I don't think nikkas really start to sounding the same everywhere until you get to Georgia. Just about every person I know from Georgia got the same accent. NC is diverse as far as accents go. Like I'm country, but my pops side of the family lives an hour North, and they super country. My cousin talk and sound just like Randy Moss. Then you might go farther south and bump into a nikka that has no southern accent at all, then bump into another nikka a second later that sound like he from Atl, and they were both born and raised in the same city here in NC.

I was told that it is the first state that starts the south. I live in the 757 it doesn’t feel country at all to me. But I’ll let people in Maryland act like there so far away from the country
