So is Warren G "Regulate...G Funk Era" a classic?

It is for me personally. Love this album, so many memories. But is it considered a classic to most others? Being a personal classic is one thing, but how do others rate this album?

So smooth, good lawd the memories to this record.. :ohlawd:

When I started re collecting vinyl, this was the second album I bought. I just really enjoy it. I might be reaching with classic.

What say you?

Yes. Some will say "no" and I won't argue with them, doe.

Ya, I would not argue with someone saying it is not a classic either. After I put the Yes or No poll up, I tried to edit it with a "No, just a good album". You can't edit polls apparently tho. :yeshrug:

Now Having said that.

How can you hate on records like..

"This is the shack"

imean I was into the single and all...but album just didnt provide. Given ill admit my basis cause im an east coast dude and the sound didnt do it for me.

This is why I won't hold you.

It was a different sound. This was "etheral" hip-hop with a voice to match. It was the first rap album
imo that was unapologetically not "hardcore".

RE: the bolded.

For that time, this is a pretty good description. :ehh:
