Yes, I just wish I was in something more isolated like tech. Sales isn’t bad but so many annoying factors and trying to sell people shyt all day is tougher than it sounds.

It’s been fantastic. I’ve been WFH for 2 years now. I only go into the office 1x a week. Honestly, I think going into the office 1-2x a week is good for the soul/mind too.

Home Office Setup:

Jarvis Standing Desk
Herman Miller Aeron Chair
LG 38” UltraWide
Mac Mini
MacBook Pro
Apple Magic Keyboard
Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse
Airpods
Sonos One Wireless Speaker
IKEA plants/shelves
African artwork
Peloton Bike
What kind of work do you do?

As an entry-level employee , I like going to the office bout twice a week just to be able to sit right next to my coworkers and be able to ask them questions.

Sadly , only one of them goes to the office almost daily.

fukk yeah it is.

Don't have to make fake small talk with the uninteresting people in the office.

I can listen to whatever music I want, instead of whatever shytty music is deemed to be "neutral".

Saving a bunch of money by being able to cook breakfast/lunch.

Not having to worry about looking busy when you have periods of downtime.

Being able to work from wherever. As long as you've got reliable internet, you can extend time off/vacations. Time off starts on Wednesday? I'm already out of town on Monday, and I'm working from wherever I went over the weekend.

As someone else said though, it's critical that you have some way to separate work from home, though. I've told nearly every one of my coworkers that say they're working out of their living room that they need to quit playing, and clear out some room in a spare bedroom or something. Having a room in my place that's set aside as my office makes a world of difference.

Update: 2 of my bosses are complete bytches, I'm overworked and Underpaid and I have interviews for hybrid jobs.

I'll take the hybrid, work in office with better pay any day. Once I get hired, no 2 weeks notice, just turning everything in.
Bomb ass interview today.

I like the flexibility of it, but I prefer being in the office. I'm not productive at home outside of answering emails, paying some invoices, and being on conference calls. Give me an office or at least a cube, and I get more done. Plus I like actually interacting with my coworkers.

I’ve been working from home for 10 years and could never go back to a full time office role. Before that 10 I worked from home for a year and a half and then went back into an office role for two years and learned I couldn’t happened. I had so much more anxiety dealing with people I didn’t like. I was the go to guy so everybody would bother me all day long with questions. I said fukk that and went right back to my WFH role.

But there is a huge benefit to being in person at times with coworkers. When being fully away I would feel more paranoid and more disconnected from the job as a whole. When we’d have a quarterly meeting where we all met in person we got so much accomplished just being in a room together. I’d always leave feeling more involved and part of a team. So my preference would be a hybrid role with maybe one or two in the office a week.

Just make sure to get a workout in. Majority of the folks that I know who started working from home got hella fat.
