Yeah I’ve listened and listened and this project isn’t for me. I want to like it but can’t. Maybe I’ll revisit later on in the year and it sounds different then.

This flow isn’t it and dude really has dumbed down the lyrics for real. He’s really muffled I don’t get that
Yea...I will admit I'm not the biggest IR fan to begin with but I'm just finishing up my 3rd listen and like you said..I'm trying to like it. I read the lyrics straight through on Genius while listening as well. Idk...it's just a flat project to me. Predictable flows, the beats sound alike. The Uzi joint is cool, Headshots as well but nothing jumps out at me. I'll give it another listen next week.

:dwillhuh: You entitled to your opinion breh, and I wouldn't even be mad if you said his flows were wack, but the last thing they are is predictable.

like, you heard the intro to All Herb and knew how he was finna spit? :gucci:

Hey Mista?

Being real, can you tell me what I'm missing? I'm asking for real, not being a dikk. Because what I'm hearing is an artist who has had substance abuse issues and his output has suffered because of it.

He's not the same rapper he was, and it's not because of age, maturity or growth. He's not even really mumbling, he's slurring.

Listen to Chad and tell me that YGTUT doesn't have the clarity over that beat that Rashad used to have on songs.

I love IR but this is facts. Man I really wish YGTUT was the one who got signed to TDE.

Preacher's Son >>>> Isaiah Rashad's entire discog.

Man hell nah :mjlol:.....tut is dope but he's not half the artist Isaiah is. And preachers son is nowhere close to cilvia demo. A lot of Tut's music just sounds too similar. Same beats. Same rhymes. Same flows. He just never evolved much as an artist. Dude is the definition of a mixtape rapper.

I still listen to PS over all of Isaiah's stuff.

To be fair though TUT himself has fallen off since.

This album makes me happy. My whip just got Bose speakers but they pretty crisp and this shyt is so nice to ride out to.
Literally just got done playing it in the ride for the first time. Got a camry with the JBL's. And yea this album is meant to be played in the ride. This shyt is the perfect summer time album. So many bangers and smooth vibes. Zay did it again :ahh:

it's not THAT hard to hear what he's saying if you listen close, rep to the people on their lyrical exercise and letting it sink in somehow
plus yall got genius.com :gucci:
its not like back in the day we knew wtf wutang was talking about half the time, they put the lyrics in the cd cover lol. me, i was so young listening to any rap music i probably didn't know what anybody was talking about. :what: bone thugs.... forget about it.
but you can still find a way to vibe :wow:
