I need Q in the studio Kal Banx man. This is the BOUNCE he needs. One of the biggest problems with Crash Talk is that most of the beats weren't wavy at all. The beats weren't bad, they were simply better suited for a rapper who could have added a wave to them...give that shyt to Migos or Travis and I'm sure they would have become good tracks. But you gotta give Q a certain vibe and bounce for him to do his thing.

Kal Banx might single handedly save TDE. This is what they need. They've needed to modernize their sound for a minute without it sounding like trend hopping. Adding this dude to the in-house production was a good move, now let him bless him Q/SZA/Jay Rock. Kenny got access to the best of the best so he doesn't need it...but everyone else? Bless em Kal.

True. Tracks like Gang Gang, numb numb juice, 5200,Tales and Attention were dope just felt like the commercial attempts were lazy and contrived. Wouldn’t mind more Q and Kenny Beats either.

After giving it some time I know for sure this will end up 3rd behind cilvia and ST. Just doesn't have the same replay value for me at this point. But I still have it as the album of the year right now. Two complaints I have are that I still wish he had put drums on darkseid. And I wish they cut 6lacks verse on Score. I like 6lack but he came wack as fukk on this. Shoulda just kept it with zay and sza.

After playing KD2 For a couple days straight I can't put it head of THIB. It was close but overall think this is just a more solid project top to bottom.
Opposite for me. Nas is rapping his ass off where as Isiah tends to mumble or is at least unintelligible in a few songs.

Both incredibly great projects though but Nas takes the edge for content alone.

I think both albums are equally enjoyable. Zay has excellent production, catchy hooks, complicated flows and cadences and is a straight vibe, while Nas album has excellent production, dope flows, elite grown man raps, motivation rhymes, dope storytelling concept tracks and strong lyricism. Both albums are at least 4.5/5.

Why do I like this project so much?
:mindblown:
This isn't the type of music I usually listen to. Even my girl had to double take when shyt started playin' in the car.

I just checked it out cause of this thread.

:salute:my coli brehs for putting me on.
Because it’s good af. It’s like if Pooh shiesty and all these other southern street rappers actually could emcee.
