Nah....but, the MVP does tend to correlate with career accomplishment. You look at all the MVP winners in the last 15 years and the names make sense.
Lebron? Definitely.
Kobe? Definitely.
Derrick Rose? If not for injuries, he'd be a superstar.
Durant? Definitely.
Kevin Garnett? Tim Duncan? Without question.
Dirk Nowitzki? One bad white boy. Went through Kobe & Lebron & Durant for his ring.
Allen Iverson? One of the best guards to play.
Steve Nash doesn't fit in there. Getting one, I'd be cool. Getting two when these other guys don't have two is ridiculous.
If Iverson and Rose fit in there, Nash does too.
Thing that people tend to miss is that MVP doesn't mean best player in a given season. Its a product of narratives, team success and then individual performance. Iverson nor Rose were actually in the conversation for best player in the league during their given campaigns.
