Not being on the Dream Team is still fresh ether to Zeke. Scottie should come back and talk about how he ran that Knicks organization into the ground and how it took them damn near a decade to recover

Barkley ethered Pip. He said he begged him to come to Houston, problem was he couldnt bring Michael Jordan w/ him :mjlol:

A lot of superstars think Pip was just a sidekick.

Nah.....fukk that. Im glad Shaq said it....he said the same thing I say.

How Steve Nash got two MVPs but, Shaq and Kobe got 1. Something wrong with that picture.

Shaq and Kobe going down as top 10 players, top 15 at the least. Steve Nash not even top 30.
Yeah, from that perspective, sure.

But the MVP isn't a career cumulative award. It's a season-by-season award, so you have to break down each individual season. Shaq had an argument for 2005, could've went either way, had no real problem with either one getting it. 2006, Shaq had NO argument... absolutely ZERO... Kobe had a decent argument but his team wasn't that great, I felt that was LeBron's award that year, but seeing as how Amare got hurt and the Suns kept pushing like nothing happened, Nash getting it again wasn't an issue.

Where players rank all-time is pretty much irrelevant to individual MVP seasons.

What the hell does what Isiah did as a GM have to do with the fact that he was a better player than Pippen, had more impact on the game, was a true leader/warrior out there, and Pippen really wasn't on any level to talk about "I don't want Isiah on the team."

Nah....but, the MVP does tend to correlate with career accomplishment. You look at all the MVP winners in the last 15 years and the names make sense.

Lebron? Definitely.
Kobe? Definitely.
Derrick Rose? If not for injuries, he'd be a superstar.
Durant? Definitely.
Kevin Garnett? Tim Duncan? Without question.
Dirk Nowitzki? One bad white boy. Went through Kobe & Lebron & Durant for his ring.
Allen Iverson? One of the best guards to play.

Steve Nash doesn't fit in there. Getting one, I'd be cool. Getting two when these other guys don't have two is ridiculous.

I hear what you're saying, but you still gotta look at it year by year. Tell me who during those seasons clearly deserved the MVP over Steve Nash? There isn't one season where you can outright say Nash DIDN'T deserve to win the MVP; you might have liked Shaq's argument better that year (I did) but you can't say it was ridiculous Nash won.

I mean, how are we gonna look at Derrick Rose 10 years from now? As an aberration? Because even though I felt LeBron should have won the award that season I can't say Derrick didn't deserve to be the MVP. But now that after the injuries and he hasn't lived up to it since, are we going to later act like "It's a tragedy Derrick Rose has the same amount of MVPs as Kobe Bryant" and shyt like that?

If the MVP was decided by NBA players instead of white guys in suits, you wouldn't have Steve Nash winning two. I mean dog....none of the NBA players agree with that. That should scream something to you, especially when Isiah is man enough to say Jordan is the best despite their history or Shaq being man enough to give Kobe his props despite their past. It's not a conspiracy to keep Nash down. Nobody that played with Nash agrees with it. Just because the Suns had a good year doesn't mean he deserves MVP. No different than Chris Paul not winning one in 08 or Kobe not winning one in 03.

Ninjas still hatin' on the boy scottie. Zeke just pissed that 23 in red and scottie's coming of age was a product of the detroit pistons prison ball tactics lol. Nan nikka on that panel from chuck down to shaq can open they mouth and speak ill on dude, they all hypocrites.

Zeke already tried to throw shade on bird, jordan, and magic and that shyt backfired everytime. Still bitter about those losses even though he has a hand in destroying and building those franchises. I agree with isaiah that he belonged on that original dream team but beef is beef and i'm sure bird, magic, and jordan didnt want that detroit locker room mutiny shyt Isaiah was known for.

Dream team alphas aint have no time for that frenemy shyt.

I remember a story from my mama about how Isiah kicked her out of a party cause she caught that nikka snorting a line:mjlol:. Til this day she hates Zeke. She said Magic had to check Zeke about that cause she was Magic's guest. Idk if true but I know fasho that my OG was besties with Magic in college so it's not far fetched.

She hates that I'm an Isiah fan:mjlol:

This is bs. Scottie was a ONE TIME NBA ALL STAR at the time he was making these type of demands. :childplease:

fukk outta here. Zeke is making a clear "at the time" point that was 100%. Who was HE at the time to make those type of statements? He had nothing built to make those type of demands.
