Much more Double teams probably, I know you didn't really see many stretch 4s like that.

A big with range is gonna score but that came off much more physical play and double teaming.

This nba a big csn give you 25 off a game of 5 3 pointers and 2 layups and 5 post ups.

Also back then even if the 4 couldn't rebound the 5 picked up the slack I would guess. A Dennis Rodman bill cartwright bill Purdue comparison.

He's wrong IMO. Players get more open shots because there are better shooters and more floor spacing, player movement and ball movement. Steve Smith says send a double, but that's how a lot of teams get burnt. If you double someone on a good passing team, they're going to pick you apart and get even easier looks. He calls big men soft but I feel there some good big men out there but they can only do so much when their PF has to play out at the 3 pt line against a stretch 4, or 5. He complains about guys like Westbrook being able to get rebounds but he's a freak of nature. He's usually the most athletic guy on the court and has the best motor. Basically he wants to bring back being able to foul guys since they can't move their feet fast enough to stay in front. They just need to accept the 3ball is a big part of the game and if a team has shooters the defense is going to have a lot of driving lanes to expose.

Nothing but facts from the REAL Isiah Thomas

shyt be looking like a fukking game wide 3 pt contest, no d whatsoever

Average final score be like 185 - 179

Are you not able to understand WHY they are open ? You think the defense is like ehhh I don't feel like contesting this one I'll just let em shoot.

80s pistons would get smoked too.

My question is: when is the Coli as a collective going to concede that MAYBE these oldheads are making a valid point?

People got on Oscar Robertson when he called out in a damn-near prophetic fashion how Golden State weren't as good as advertised.

People scoffed at Barkley when he said that he'd never jump ship to join a ready-made contender.

Now people are questioning Isaiah.

It couldn't be that these oldheads who've played in the NBA and who now observe it for a living are correct in their criticisms of the league. :troll:

Yeah I do, Steph Curry aint smoking the bad boys, his ass would leave in an ambulance

The thing Is they have multiple weapons, that's what makes teams tough to guard. That's why they end up with open jumpers and layups and dunks. The defense can never move faster than the ball. The pistons are no exception to that. They didn't have to deal with this today so it's easy to look back and say hey we never would've allowed this.

I have a hard time beleiving it when teams got VHS cassette tapes on the opposition via courier mail.

Bulls had multiple weapons
Lakers had multiple weapons
Celtics had multiple weapons

If you transported the 2016 warriors to the bad boy detroit prime and we were playing in the 80s league under the 80s rules, gsw wouldnt be dropping 3s like that, I guarantee it
