This season for his size Isaiah Thomas has been playing great defense.

Doesn't matter. Isaiah has no defensive impact and is constantly picked on. He does have good defensive instincts and understands proper defensive positioning but he's too small. He can't contest most NBA players, he can't close out effectively, etc.

Dude is an absolute negative defensively. He's just so good offensively that he makes up for it.
