Actually, Iran is fighting ISIS. Their people are on the ground helping Bashar Al-Assad (The Russians also are on Assad's side) in Syria and the Iranians also support the Iraqi government and all those Shia militias in Iraq.

Also, do not forget the Kurds (who are Sunni Muslims) that are fighting against ISIS in their territories in Kurdistan Iraq and Syria.

The Saudis primed the pump with these groups in like 2012 but they aren't bankrolling them anymore.

ISIS is a very weak non entity if you really look at it. Exaggerated to gargantuan size.
They were successful in Syria because Assad has manpower issues, Raqqa is considered not too important for now.

ISIS, Jabhat Al Nusra, and Free Syrian Army and other groups have not done very well against areas that Assad needs to control.

Its not reported in Western media but the casualties are close to 10 to 1 for Assad even when he loses the battle and withdraws.

And Mosul was a major fukkup, the Iraqi army is not an army. There is no nationalism.
The average Iraqi soldier does not want to fight, and is only there for the money.
Thanks for the info breh. I try to keep up with the Syrian war but no gives and its hard ti find info. Seems like a war thats not gonna end anytime soon. Is Assad still bombing his owb people everyday?

Yup.

Assad is a mean sonobytch, and if it was upto him he would gas millions. But he is no longer in charge of these things.
He has Iranian and Russian handlers holding his hands making sure nothing stupid happens. If this was his father, things would be a lot different and way more devastating than they already are if you can imagine. His father would legit gas people everywhere and weed out every single bit of opposition around.

Assad can do something very simple and straight forward. ISIS is less of a threat than the so called "free syrian army" because it does not have secure bases in Turkey and Jordan to organize and recruit forces.

A small armored and mechanized attack on Raqqa and Invasion of western Iraq protected by air cover, through ISIS held roads all the way.
Its not too difficult you don't need to hold territory, all you need is regular raids on a large scale.
This cuts off access to Iraqi sources of supply and funds.

This has already been suggested by Hezbollah and the Iranians, they never got a chance to do this.

They do have these armor and mechanized assets, they are being retrained and equipped with Iranian assistance,
they just have only a couple of these units available to throw at ISIS in future,

Free Syrian army is a greater threat because of the larger manpower available, and weapons.
It does not matter that they cannot fight, for every one of Assad's men killed 5-10 FSA die in every battle.
The problem is Assad cannot afford to lose these men, even if he wins every battle against these groups.
The FSA can keep on losing 200 battles over the next 5 years and lose 100,000 fighting men and still win
due to a never ending supply on fighting men.

Yeah in all the docs i watched there were soldiers from FSA saying we dont need more man, just more weapons and money.

And is its everyman for themselves right? I know isis and al nusara where alliances at one point but later seperated. And this happens alot between sides in the ppl conflict . What that all about? Also what happened with hezbollah and isis? Hezbollah gave then the beats when the tried to come into Lebanon,is that done with?
