Isn't banning or putting an end to production on Assault Weapons the same thing as Gun Control?

:ehh: she knows her stuff

Massachusetts, more specifically Western Mass.. Where I'm at has probably has one of the most diverse & biggest demographics of immigrants.

Every person I grew up around families came here from either Puerto Rico, Russia, Portugal and poland. And most of them came here poor as fukk and started off (and still do) working in factories.

I've worked mostly manufacturing factories either plating AR parts or making military gun cases and coolers. And almost every person I worked with was either a non white, non natural born citizen or a convict.

If the US were to ban ARs it would hurt "minorities" and those who get out the pen and get jobs at these places who still give felons a chance.

Why would Black folks want themselves exposed and vulnerable like that?

If we were to give up Assault Weapons then we might as well give up Everything else as well

Soooo having these types of weapons is a race thing. Okay.....your exactly the type of person I support not having these types of weapons.

The thing is that they can ban the production of assault weapons but not stop it. This country is the biggest producer of guns in the world. Russia is second. What's not to stop the Russians from hitting up the Mexicans to traffic their guns into the country and have one of the Russians on the inside waiting to receive them and sell them on the black market? The Mexicans already trafficking in drugs, I'm pretty sure they got weapons coming in also. The U.S. may not produce the weapons but they'll still be easily available. The ak47 isn't even American, the Russians make it, and that's a popular one over here. What they need to do is push harsher sentences for those caught with assault rifles instead of worrying about those caught with weed. They can't stop everyone that has an assault rifle but putting pressure on the sellers and those that purchase them may help some. But then again, nobody can predict when one lone lunatic decides to commit these type of shootings.

idk , nikkas swear they packin heat in the south , so imma say no more than 5-7%
True but I'd say that for all weapons. Most probably just have a handgun or pistol or something small for home protection. But then again, these criminals been getting more brazen lately so it might be best to have a damn rocket launcher to defend your home these days.

Not really. Just gotta pass a drug test. If you don't have a solid work history, just make one up. Most manufacturing jobs in the north east you get through a temp agency and they get so many people looking for jobs They don't check your job history & experience

most the guys I worked with when I worked at the gun plating factory were black men in there 20s:yeshrug:

Worked at the Yankee candle warehouse for a bit too. Were Lots of Asians, Hispanics and Black men.

Im white so I can't say for sure but based on what I've noticed, temp agencies generally don't seem like they racially profile. They just need/want someone people to fill a spot. :manny:

I forget the exact numbers but it's something like the US produces like 90 percent of guns & has something like 70 percent of them.

So that gun a Mexican cartel has was probably produced right here in my city :yeshrug:

You gotta thimk about what theyre really doing

Itd be the same as prohibitiom id assume

Too many people have them, the demand is too high for any sort of ban to be effective, so the only effect you would essentially have is the government losing money

:whoo: damn . what a country ... prolly enough guns for every citizen to have 5 or 6

I edited my post cause I knew I was off. I meant has 70 percent but produces about 20 percent more. Don't take that as fact though, that's just a general number off the top cause I forgot exactly the percentage.
