they had no idea (I assume) LeBron was coming back. That's why he was hired in the 1st place. It was a rebuilding job.
When you get the best player in the league, you need to get someone with some type of NBA head coaching experience. They shoulda looked at Jackson, or SVG(if he was available) to coach that team.

I have said from jump riley should've been coaching Miami. they would've 3 peated, then lost to the spurs in 14, and warriors in 15 (bosh was out)
