I always felt there should be..its a untapped market..I mean obviously u have cats not feeling the current crop of rappers...I know satelite and internet have statik s like that but there should be one that is terrestrial. ..like it make no sense that ny has two hip hop station with identical playlist..shows how messed up black radii is though..
Power will put on one older song from the past 10 years like once an hour, but that's it. No difference at all.
at other places already having on this but not NY. we lost.I have Sirius and I listen to backspin occasionally. I have two things to say about it:
1. When they start playing stuff like Funky 4 +1 more, and other stuff that came out in the EARLY days I usually change the station. I can't get into that stuff.
2. It's crazy how artists like DMX, Outkast, and Dr. Dre are played on an old school station. I'm getting old
