ISO Bron is the Only reason the Cavs are in this Series

Considering the Difference in overall talent and what each player on each team specializes a heavy ISO offense that cleveland is running is the ONLY way they are still in this series.



-Lowers the amount of possessions
-Limits Fast break
-Limits Turnovers
-Gives them their best offensive match up/ Only offensive match up
-Allows other players to rest for Defense


We see this in college ball too, when you have a team that is much more talented than you you wanna limit the possessions and make the game as close as possible. If the Cavs play faster or try to get into too many sets that just will show the disparity in offensive talent between the two teams.


Brons usage rate is something ungodly right now but its the only shot the cavs have, as such hes gona shoot horribly no matter what.



ISO ball allows the Cavs to play to their strength which is defense and rebounding as well as limit the warriors strength.

bar Klay Thompson, all of Golden State's best defenders are at SF. And they still can't defend Lebron if he's on his game. its that simple.

If Golden state goes small, CLE can counter that by putting Thompson at C and Lebron at PF and still defend really well. All that "3 point shot is more valuable" sht is useless if defenders close up on shooters really quick and force them to miss.

And Unlike Mike Dantoni's Phx, Golden State pass up a lot of easy shots for a 3 point shots(miss)
