explain what’s wrong with it, breh:manny:

otherwise why even comment at all?

you have no take at all. Which makes you irrelevant. :camby:

Add something useful to the thread/conversation if you’re so enlightened on the topic

maybe you’re just scared of “embarrassing yourself”:youngsabo:
No need for me to convince paid agents to stop doing what yall are being paid to do

:mindblown:

1. When did it become pointless for occupied people to fight for their rights and fight against colonialism? :rudy:

2. The root of the conflict is colonialism. Imagine the reason for cacs colonizing Africa was that they originated from Africa. That is what's happening in Palestine. :unimpressed:

3. No one says that you're just making stuff up at this point:pachaha:
Maybe their actual argument was that they've lived there for thousands of years and that random white people are coming into their homes claiming to be some ancient group of people who were brown and black. :jbhmm:
Don't even try and say, "but they're Arabs". At that point, I won't even respond to you if you're that ignorant. :comeon:

4. Conflict over Jerusalem or holy sites ended hundreds of years ago until cacs started to colonize the region.

5. Most countries in the world don't support them. Only cacs do. Everyone else sees the blatant colonialism and apartheid.
The UN considers it an Apartheid state. Human Rights Watch just recently did a deep investigation and came to the same conclusion. :stopitslime:

He has no clue what he's talking about.

why would the UN be able to do something about it? There are other places in the world with ongoing colonization like Moroccos occupation of Western Sahara. Its not like the UN stopped colonization in Africa either

some Jewish settlers are motivated by religion but a lot of them are not. the founder of Zionism Theodor Herzl and first PM of Israel David Ben-Gurion were not even religious. Historically most Orthodox Jews were against Zionism because it breaks the Three Oaths with God, but secular Jews supported it because they viewed themselves as an ethnicity in need of a state, not a religion. Jewish people don’t have to be religious at all to be Zionists

when I say the UN I just mean all the other countries/leader watching on a global stage considering how it’s always in the news and a focus or USA. The outcry would be too big if it was obvious colonization. Israel would be held accountable as the US would in supporting them.

you don’t have to be “religious” of course but they (leaders) still cater to the orthodox and those in the extreme who still have power within the community.

I agree but secular Jews are still Jews.
for Jews religion=ethnicity=culture and there’s a grey area between all three. it’s hard to separate this idea from the conflict and that’s why it’s such a complex situation/debate and that’s why people (no Jews/Palestinian) from the outside don’t even wanna touch it

jewish people are really United (from what I’ve observed) more than any group of people as a community and in what they believe no matter how religious/cultural individually they be. I think those few that speak out against Zionism are rebels and brave outliers but not the norm

you can see how religious someone is from looking at their actions but you can’t see what they believe inside

I think you’re confusing religion with beliefs. some Jews might not follow Judaism (and observe the Torah for example) but their beliefs and culture are influenced by it. And I assume they have been raised in what to believe regardless of how “religious” they choose to be as an adult

But this is just my personal opinion/observation based on things I’ve seen online. I’m not Jewish and didn’t grow up in Jewish community so what do I know? It just makes most sense to me in light of the events happening right now :manny:

I wish someone who is actually a white European Jew could weight and give their perspective

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
It was rhetorical. It’s a footnote on CNN.

and don’t be afraid to say it. They have a major influence in media, entertainment, politics and the financial sector. When you point it out, instead of denying it, they cry anti-semitism .

black people on this country fight, scratch and protest to gain have the access Jews have in this country, but we’re racist for acknowledging what they have.

theres a lot of outcry right now. probably more than at any point since 1948

but really...who is going to hold Israel and the United States accountable? Israel is the only nuclear state in the region and the U.S. is the global superpower. Theres not really anything the rest of the world can do to change the situation without one of those countries getting on board.

And colonization happens all the time without outcry. One example is most people in the world have no idea about Western Sahara because it isn’t widely reported. In the US the pro-Israeli narratives (like Holocaust, strong U.S. ally, right to self defense) have been given much more attention than the Palestinian narrative of colonization and displacement. And Im sure a lot of Americans dont think colonization is a problem in the first place. So its not surprising theres not as much outcry in this country.
