Making a big spectacle of the embassy opening was a stupid move but let's not act like Hamas didn't send people over there to riot and start shyt. They will never accept Jerusalem as Israel's capital, it's just the reality of the situation. At some point the band-aid had to be ripped off.

But you felt compelled to post about them.

Clean your shyt up.

Care for in the sense that I care about their plight anymore than the plight of others. This just happens to be in the news at the moment.

The Palestinians could have lived peacefully with the Israelis but that all went out of the window when they hitched their wagon to the nefarious goals of their Arab brothers who care even less about them than the Jews they hate so much. Now they depend on a terrorist organization to represent them...Israel knows that and acts accordingly. Jerusalem will always be the capital of the Jewish state, the opinions of the Palestinians notwithstanding. And all things being equal Israel being the prime power in that region is much better than the alternative. Deal with it :manny:

What nefarious goals?

Seems they have the exact same goal as the Israelis. :heh:

They don't want Israel to exist. For them Jews and other religious minorities in the Middle East should live in a subdued state of existence, but a special hatred is reserved especially for "yahoodis." I mean that's just a fact breh. If the roles were reversed there would be no "gaza" like situation for the Jews, they would be either completely expelled or massacred. There is historical precedent for that, and you can't blame the Jews for looking out for their own security. At the end of the day Israel is a free country and a civilized society surrounded by states that want it destroyed. I do feel bad for the Palestinians today who are the victims of choices that were made for them and not necessarily by them, but so long as they keep blaming Israel for their situation instead of reconsidering who they let represent and speak/act for them, things will never change in their favor.

Are you suggesting that them opposing the creation of the nation of Israel by outsiders as nefarious? :gucci:

I suspect this is all rooted in Indian Colorism

Jews were always in the region. They were never outsiders. An ACTUAL extermination was made on them during ww2 and these Arabs you are caping for didn't want to share the sandbox with them. They decided to put their trust in the Arab states who ensured Israel's destruction, got their asses handed to them on multiple occasions, and here we are. Sucks for them but that's all she wrote.

The Middle East is majority Muslim now, why don't you ask yourself what happened to all the Jews and the Christians who also lived there for generations? Israel is the only country in the middle east that grants religious freedom. But you want me to dikkride Hamas? :heh: get the fukk outta here breh.

To be expelled from their homes, afaik not compensated for it, and have no say whatsoever in that decision are all nefarious acts. For Israel to continue to land grab as opposed to just splitting Jerusalem and refusing Palestine to be a free state is nefarious as well.

The Palestinians want 3 things: the right to return to their homes (which they were illegally evicted from), a free and independent Palestine based on the 1967 borders, East Jerusalem as their capital. 2 of the 3 can be given. The other most likely will have to be replaced with some sort of compensation.

The fact that Israel seems to be against any of these reasonable demands is again nefarious. Hamas has not been a good broker of peace or governance for the Gazans. But Gaza's situation is definitely not all Hamas' fault either.

I'm fully aware of the history, I'm just trying to understand your reasoning for absolving Israel of all of their crimes.

You say the Palestinians want all these noble things but they chose Hamas to represent them. There may be Palestinians who secretly want Hamas gone but can't display that openly....and on the other hand Hamas openly states that it wants the destruction of Israel. So why should Israel accept that? Hamas is the one sending these protesters out there to riot and create unrest, all because of their refusal to acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state.

The Palestinians need to tell Hamas to kick rocks. There needs to be some type of civil war among them to sort that out, because until that happens they will always be pariahs and pawns of the international community. They aren't in the position to demand anything from Israel until they can prove that they can produce something other than terrorists and "martyrs."

Yes, they chose Hamas because the PA/Fatah wasn't doing the job and that was a frustration vote. Much like Trump. Difference being that Palestinians were actually dealing with being second-class citizens by an occupying nation. Also, the things the Palestinians are asking for had been on the table before Hamas. Hamas doesn't remove the legitimacy of their struggle and demands. Especially since, as I said before, those issues existed long before Hamas came into power in 2007.

Also Palestinians have been having Naqba protests since the Naqba happened. Claiming Hamas made them do it is a lazy excuse if not disingenuous.
