I already quoted it. :umad:
The post where I said that your issue doesnt pass racism?

If Im saying that the issues are equal of course that would mean that your issue wouldnt pass the issue of racism.

You do know what equal means dont you?

Use your brain. :sas2:

And why do we need a Black leader?

Who's the leader of white america?
Who's the leader in the Asian-american community?
The Latino community?

If you really listen to the media, they are saying that we, as a people, need to be herded together like sheep.
Like we are not capable as individuals to think without a mass collection of similar thought.

They are saying that we are a weak people who need people that they hand pick to speak for us all.

Some gems in here. Im happy to see that someone else gets it. We dont need a leader. Everyone needs to be able to lead themselves and make their own decisions. Anything short of that is weakness. We all have the ability to think for ourselves and we need to start exercising that more as black people. This is one of the problems holding us back. Its making us weak.

Its not just the media. Alot of black people feel that black people need to be led by the nose and herded like sheep as though we cant exist without some sort of group think and shepard. I want nothing more than for us to break out of that thought process. When we do I feel that we will be significantly stronger.

Contradicting where? Show me where I put any issue over the one you presented?

Ive been saying the same thing throughout this convo. :sas2:
:comeon: you were yapping about addressing the issue "equally", but when I say these issues (education, household, jobs, etc) surpasses it, then you say nothing tops racism?

This. We dont support each other AT ALL. Matter fact we are the only race that :scust:at the thought of living in a community made up ONLY of ourselves. All other races want and seek to live amongst their own. We do the opposite. We think living amongst whites is "making it":blessed:
Why do you think that is? They probably have obligations that require the stability of working a stable job. Those immigrants you're talking about have support. If you're a chinese dude you will get the support from your community. Indian, same thing. We don't support each other. So, if we're not getting support form our own poeple, we sure as hell won't get support from other races....so good luck surviving.

Don't compare black folk to other races. Our situation is unique.

:wtb: Hip hop has nothing to do with it. Please stop. How can you equate our problems which has been happening for centuries with a genre of music which has only been around for 30 years?
It's one of our problems. A huge demographic of rap music is high school kids and a little bit older. You don't think a lot of senseless crimes have to do with the brainwashing that occurs when songs like "Hot nikka" get massive radio play? I never said our only problem was hip hop. One of our major problems in the black community is the usual popular songs.

Crime because of entertainment? Thats a novel argument.

Well it doesnt surpass racism. They are all both on equal terms so one doesnt surpass the other.

Thats what equal means.

I think its moreso that we're unaware/blind to our problems and less that we're not acknowledging them. Especially the younger generation coming up. Black pride doesn't exist anymore. The hiphop/rap culture that predominantly defines black culture is keeping us in a dumbed down mindstate. The degradation of women is killing the black family unit. Young black boys are being taught that the black woman is merely a sex object. Young black girls are being taught that the ideal black man is a "boss", "thug", or "d-boy". We are being taught/conditioned to recklessly spend our money on everything but black-owned businesses. And above all else the hiphop/rap culture is conditioning us to hate/fear and not trust each other. Most of yall dont see wat rap is doing to our collective minds but hopefully one day you all eyes will be opened like mine was. Ive said it many times before here and ill say it again: THE BLACK COMMUNITY WILL NEVER PROGRESS AS LONG AS THE RAP/HIPHOP CULTURE IS THE DOMINANT FORM OF BLACK MUSIC. Its a poison yall

They're not ready to hear these truths brother.

blaming hiphop is just a lazy attempt at diagnosing our problems. It's a bit like those who blame video games or movies for certain crimes. Our problems are much much bigger than hiphop. Do you really think if hiphop hadn't been invented the black community will be some big thriving community? Come on breh.

Thats a symptom.

Rap used to have a big pro black scene then white people who dont care about black people took over with white consumers who dont care about black people buying albums funding them which turned it into what we have now.

Racism and white supremacy is the disease and all of that are the symptoms.

Some of you guys say "we don't support each other" maybe that's because they aren't many opportunities to support each other?

There are very little black businesses around my way. If there were some black owned grocery stores or restaurants (Outside of Jamaican spots) or shyt for my everyday needs I wouldn't be fukking with other businesses and support my people exclusively.

Just a thought. I know this is a pity party thread though.

No, this is a gay bashing thread that went off track, started by an obvious cac.
