It is 2023. Why do you guys still want to financially provide for women?

I essentially ask why in 2023 do men continue to cling to social norms that isn't practical or tangibly beneficial to him(being the lone provider)?

These are the responses I got from the supporters of these social norms
Broke nikka babble.

Some of y'all sound like a couple guys I know. Cry about not being able to find a submissive woman but with nothing to bring to the table but platitudes and empty promises.
Literally, what could POSSIBLY be a bigger investment than the person you marry and have kids with??

Just say you’re broke and can’t fathom it. It’s easy to argue against doing something that you don’t have the ability or option to do in the first place.
That's all it is, if he had he wouldn't be asking such a crazy question.:heh: If you're broke just say that lmao
Just petty insults.

According this study, the living expense
of one person is around 40k annually and around 70k annually for two people. So you'll be adding another 30k annually to your living expense if you decide to be the financially provider for another person.

Why would you unnecessarily add 30k annually to your living expenses?

Why not invest it into something more lucrative?

I don't understand it. It doesn’t make any financial sense.
That’s what I‘ve been wanting to know as well

Bunch of little boys with thread making abilities on this site. I have to constantly remind myself of this.
He's a little boy because he questioned why we should have a need to be 100% financially responsible for someone in an era where she's your economic equal?

"To make the woman feel feminine"

Whatever that means. That level of stress will make people drop dead early

He misses the big picture. Its not about taking care of a woman it's about raising a family. I wouldn't want my kids in daycare letting strangers raise them. It's got to be family. Guess what? That means you got to sacrifice the luxury life for your family. We are meant to be together, we just have a lot of selfish people who are focused on living a luxury life instead of focusing on family.

He's not a "little boy" for opening a discussion on something that is economically not possible for most people. Stance on the topic be damned.
