uganda is a soverign nation, they get to decide their own rules and morality. i hope the people eventually mature and promote more inclusive practices.
because whether you like gays or not they exist and will continue to exist. so making them into criminals ultimately just means more strife and pain amongst your people.
But Americans shouldn't be taking any actions one way or another on this. all we doing is drving these nation into china's web and building what will eventually become a global empire that is hostile towards us. We are not the arbitrars of global morality.

Perhaps they won’t be this aggressive if the US isn’t trying to force fakkitry on them. US foreign policy & homosexuality are intertwined these days & it’s normal for people to be aggressive in pushing back on it.

interfering in their country politics, thats not something we welcome when china and russia try to do it to us, so i don't understand why we think its ok to do the same to others. In religion morality is abolsolute. in reality is a social contruct and our way isn't any more valid than any others.
If we want to help gay Ugandans the only correct way to do it, is to welcome them to other country and make them americans. anything else is violated their sovereignty.
you do realize the interference russia and china are conducting is to destabilize our democracy to make it an unappealing form of governance to their own countries population. the united states advocating human rights and russia and china saying do as you please within your borders no matter the harm isn't the same and is incredibly disingenuous.
we welcome china's and russias lambasting of the united states poor record on civil rights abuses but we know they do worse. china and russia don't actually advocate for positive change. their interference is literally about sowing discord among americans.

You prove my point, here you are saying is wrong for Russia and China to interfere in our country while advocating our Country interfering in another one.
So basically what you saying is that it is okay for foreign countries to interfere as long as they believe what they are doing is right.
