It really is a shame that Samsung is now going the planned obsolescence route with their phones.

Yeah, this. I had went from 32 gigs to 16 gigs on my previous phone due to wife buying the phone for me. I was consistently over storage out the box. Got 128 now and I never have to worry about running out of space. I never watch movies or tv shows on my phone, so I don't bother with putting them on there, but pics and music and app/software updates, I never have to worry about if I have enough space for that shyt now.
I get by with 8GB of storage.

Not the point at all, the point is that there is no reason to limit options. Space is not an argument either since phones are getting larger every year.

plenty of reasons to limit options the paradox of choice for one
with cloud storage I cant see the need for SD cards
with non removable batteries there is a small arguement
but saying this is planned obsolescence is a reach bruha

I watch a lot of shyt on the go on my phone because there is NO fukkING TIME to be watching that shyt live..so that argument don't ride with me. Space is essential..I have no idea how anyone can get by with just 32gbs.

It's clearly planned obsolescence, there is no advantage to REMOVE a feature that is useful to so many people

Why don't you just download the tracks Straight from iTunes?
My iTunes library is messed up with way to many duplicate tracks. I found an app called iSyncr that copied all my playlist as is and put them on the Galaxy S6 as is. Works well with Playerpro as my music player. Now I need to figure out how to sync my playcounts.

Cheaper design, simpler design, less licenses
They can save a couple dollars per phone when ur producing like 50 million phones it adds up
Most people don't use that feature stop it

Which doesn't translate at all to the buyer because I am almost positive these devices will cost the same if not more than the previous models.

MANY use it and its cheap as fukk overall to put that feature in. This is simply a cash grab to jump from 32GB to 64 or even 128GB in Apple's case. You are simply blind if you don't see it. HTC tried it with the HTC One line and got a rude awakening. Samsung is just doing this because of their dominant position in the android space at the moment.

shyt is really inexcusable that people accept planned obsolescence or companies making shyt difficult for no reason.
