It seems like women are more interested in me now at almost 30 than when I was in my early 20s...

It's funny...I met this cute 23 year old Dominican girl at the bar last Wednesday and we were talking it up for damn near an hour. I guess it's because I'm more interesting now at 29 then I was at 23 or younger. Also, I'm in good shape and more confident in myself now then when I was younger. Which is why I'm just real excited about this summer coming up.

you fukk yet?

Anyone notice how rich or successful women in the corporate world tend to look for men on their level or ideally higher and if they can't find that they remain single ? I kind of admire that. I hardly hear about gold digging men, apart from in hollywood, never in real life. But I can give you three examples of men being 'stung'.

Doesn't surprise me in the least that 30 year old men will get more interest than 25 yr olds, whereas the opposite tends to be the case with 30 yr old women and 25 yr old women. Don't give me that bull that men age better so remain attractive for longer... simply put if you don't look after yourself you can look in your thirties in your early twenties, that goes for both genders. Women just are wired different and pretend they want 'stablity' when what they really want is a healthy bank balance and a man with a job she can boast to her friends about, she wants to be 'wife of' to get power. ,If a man is relatively young, can still get it up in bed and is reasonably attractive it's a bonus. men let their balls rule them,

Most of them are ugly that is why they became successful in the first place.

Word. This is a change for me. I usually just kick it with the boys at the bar and that's it. The weather's been getting warmer, I've been working and maintaining, I feel more comfortable talking to women now. I guess I had this weird mental block from my days in Pittsburgh in regards to the wack singles scene and feeling like I was invisible there. I realize this is NY now...more women notice me...it's a real culture shock. LOL.

I was really shutting myself off fro women and other people for the past couple...I just needed to work on myself. Now that I have, I feel like the time has come to reap the benefits of my hard work. I couldn't help others if I couldn't help myself breh.

Where did you hang out at in Pittsburgh?

Every time I find something I like here, it shuts down. It's very hard to find an middle medium here, either the places you attend are white washed where the white folks don't really fukk with blacks or you got to go some where that's mad hood where a night out having fun means potential losing your life over stupid shyt.

I know I'm not really "living" by continuing to reside here but it's so cheap and inexpensive.

Of course, women get to an age where they realize their pu-ssy isn't special and start casting a wider net so to speak. They are biologically hardwired for that, it's their clock plus some just like d-ick.

I used to hang out at the Shadow Lounge (RIP) and AVA for years. I actually considered myself more of a regular and part of the extended family there, as me and my friends hosted art exhibitions and community events, I DJd there (I actually was one of the residents back in 2008) and was a huge support of Justin Strong and Tim's contributions to the city's social scene. That's why I was really sad when it closed and I heard AVA relocated to Oakland as part of the recently closed Quiet Storm (I used to live there for almost 4 years from 2005-2008 and a little bit in 2010:scusthov:). As much as I hated back then, I miss that shytty college neighborhood that used to be dope to me back in the 1990s/early 00s. I knew it was coming sadly when I heard that they were getting noise complaints in the midst of the slow gentrification of the East Liberty/Shadyside area where it was situated...even when they went over 10 years without a single complaint and had numerous glowing reviews/reports.

But yeah, I had the same issues you did. I got sick and tired of "partying with the white folks" and going to the South Side, Lawrenceville, or Oakland (I used to live there as well) or trying to head out to the hood spot where every night ended with a fight like Chemistry. It got old really fast.
