Dark Tower is legitimately the key to everything

How much of Dark Tower (the movie with Idris) lore is revealed in the movie? Its tone seemed so different - like an action fantasy - it was super uninteresting to me and I wasn’t seeing the connection to monsters and all this other shyt besides the kid having the shine to even know the dark tower existed (I will say I slept thru the last 20 minutes of it as well)

Idris and the kid actually had decent chemistry but the film itself butchered the story. There's too much material to have DT as a film. There's 7 books alone for the Dark Tower series regarding the Gunslinger Film left out a ton of shytIt has to be series with multiple seasons.

Now that we've seen Pennywise lie about his own limitations, I'm realizing that there's another 'misconception' about Pennywise out there that is putting more potential victims in danger:

People seem to be under the impression that a lack of fear would make you 'immune' to Pennywise, but this is something that is obviously untrue.
I think the misconception that the characters have is that Pennywise is some kind of specter or "non-physical" being that can only affect people in their minds, kind of like Freddy Krueger in the dreamworld.

But I think this episode kind of emphasized that Pennywise is a REAL solid physical shape-shifting creature, that has real teeth that can really bite you and really physically rip you apart.

Sure, he can use mental power to make you see illusions that are not there....but there's some real, solid, physical 'thing' that is slithering through the pipes like a worm then morphing into a clown after it comes out of a drain.

So a lack of fear might protect you from the illusions that Pennywise sends at you, but it won't do ANYTHING to stop a giant monster physically chomping down on you.

Not a plot hole imo. Fear has nothing to do with the illusions. Having no fear means Hanlon doesnt freak out like another person would if they saw their wife. Notice Pennywise didnt have Russo see Charlotte, but Hanlon could. The kids saw all that stuff in the pictures, but the adults didnt see it.

I don't think what he saw was 100% illusion either. After he shot his gun there was a splash in the water like something was swimming away.
Even though the other soldier didn't see it, I think there was a Pennywise tentacle under the water.

Maybe illusions is the wrong word for the sewer shyt. Illusions, to me, means it's visually real, but no physical threat. Like a hologram.
Would manifestations be better? Pennywise is manifesting shyt. So it has physical attributes as well. So Charlotte, Uncle Sam and etc in the sewer were manifestations or just pennywise himself shapeshifting into those people.

The stuff with Marge is dicey though. I wouldve said the the eye shyt was pure illusion, but it had to be "real". Marge felt the pain of the eyes growing. Her cutting the eye was shaky too. Half her face shouldve been cut off if we being honest. No way that blade can touch her regular eye w/o cuting her nose and shyt.

Lily store stuff was more illusion than manifestation.

Maybe it's just a lack of consistency of the creative team and they dont expect ppl to think this hard on it
