I listened to the episode 8 official podcast for the show. They had all the kid actors, Andy M and his wife, and Andy with Bill Skarsgård.

The little girl that plays Ronnie says it took them 3 years of filming to finish. She said she started in the 7th grade and ended as a sophomore in high school.

I don't really remember anything from the interviews besides Will's actor saying he'd leave Derry at the end.

there had to be production/script disruptions/changes. shouldn't take 3 years to film this. i'm gonna just enjoy what we got. i personally don't find it fun waiting multiple years for a new season of a show, even anthology style

The SAG 2023 writer strike was for 6 months. That lead to the long production. They also talked about the ending was supposed to be in the summertime and not the winter. They also talked about Andy M improvde the finger to Pennywise, and the kid that plays Richie improvised the slide at the end.

Pennywise had me with the singing and trolling. Love the idea of him being trapped in time and how he is able to jump through it like Roland. Reminds me of the Netflix show Dark and how they treated time travel. Can't wait for the new season.
