THIS

IT HAS TO BE RELATED
WITH THE SELL OF WB.

NOW LETS SEE IF THE NEW OWNER

Do you remember when shows used to release A YEAR after the previous season ? And these shows had like 22 episodes per season :unimpressed:
Yeah, but that was during the heyday of cable 15-30 years ago. Streaming is not optimized for shows that are 20-24 episodes per season.

I've watched a few K-dramas that have 16-20 episodes in a season and they can be a slog to get through (so much filler lol).

8-12 episodes is the perfect sweet spot. It's studios taking 2-3 years to release a new season that is the problem.

The Walking Dead was the last of its kind. Salute to them, idc if people hated it later on. They dropped every single year and had 11-16 eps per season. Without question. Plus spin offs breh.

:what:THE BIGGEST ISSUE WITH
THE 6-10 EP SEASONS
IS THE FACT TAKES 2-3 YEARS
TO GET A NEW SEASON.

YOU WOULD THINK
WE WOULD DEFINITELY GET
A NEW SEASON EVERY YEAR
WITH SO FEW EPISODES.

GAME OF THRONES
USED TO DROP EVERY YEAR.

TV HAS FALLEN THE fukk OFF.

or just film these shyts back to back - you got the plot laid out, then write the fukking scripts. studios need to greenlight and cut the check to film all 16-20 episodes. like maybe 10% of these actors really be having some big shyt poppin with films, but 80% of them actors claim they needs breaks to film other stuff only to be in the most mid-flop or straight to streaming titles. maybe i'm downplaying the creative/production process, but i dont see why they can hunker down and film 2 seasons and have them shyts ready to go each year
