I'm in Mexico right now, which many consider a third world country and I'm having a fukking blast. Lets not put labels on countries we know nothing about friends
I told you...I thought I was in Nigeria when I was in parts of Italy

Rome reminded me of late 70s NY it was so dirty and graffiti ridden. It's spotty. Most of Italy is alright but it's the south that's just filthy.
Sicily is a fukking dump (and the streets smell like shyt since garbage removal is a huge problem there). The mafia still controls that shyt and unions go on strike when they don't get paid.

the scariest part about Rome is the street kids. They would steal your wallet in broad daylight
I went to Syracuse which wasn't that bad. Rome was filthy as fukk though

any one been to Naples ?

So Im heading to Naples in two weeks, it took me two years but im finally on my wayIn Sur it should be cheap. You'll get COLA so it'll offset a lot. Utilities suck because Italians send the bills when they want. And it can get pricey. Prepaid phones are encouraged. Their plans are awful. The Euro is dropping so it makes life easier. If you did 6 month contracting job it's going to be easy bud. Learn some Italian. Italy is one of the few Western countries that don't speak it everywhere.
