I'd try but I don't know how successful I'd be, Def not doing that shyt in the OP lol. Maybe I'd try contacting the police but the CIA probably already knew an attack was possible. Plus I don't know which planes hit where all I could really tell them some mfs from Saudi Arabia going to jack 3 planes

9/11 changed the world that way. Also TSA and all the policies were made because of it. The impacts of that day we are still facing 20 years later.

I wonder if actually trying to change it would save things ultimately or would something more catastrophic occur.

If it was a natural disaster, I wouldn't have a problem sacrificing my life to save others but when certain events are inevitable because of human choices, you would just be condemning someone else to death.
