Obama more than likely wouldn't become president or at least not in 2008. Maybe 2012 or 2016. If Bush lost in 2004, it would probably be McCain vs whichever democrat won in 2004. It's crazy though because without Obama being president, it would have never led to the rise of the Tea Party and Donald Trump becoming president.

Thinking about it, the 2000 election was one of the most important elections in U.S. history because of all the ramifications it's had and will probably continue to have for the next few decades.

The only way to save everyone is to sacrifice yourself, get on a flight with a box cutter and highjack a plane the day before. When your caught bring awareness that on 9/11/01 they're gonna do the exact same thing and crash into the towers and the pentagon.

If you gon hijack a plane then get a damn fighter and shoot down all 4 planes. Feds will feel some type of way that you took their property but you’ll be a hero

Fighter is faster than a commercial airplane and all 4 planes were within reasonable distance from each other that you could reach them all.

If it was guaranteed to stop 9/11 then yeah I would probably sacrifice myself. If 9/11 wouldn't have happened then no Afghanistan War, no Iraq War or at least delayed it further, no war on terror, Republicans don't get control of both houses in the 2002 mid term elections, Bush probably doesn't win reelection in 2004 therefore a better government response to Hurricane Katrina, no Patriot Act, no 6'000 plus American military personnel dead and thousands injured, no hundreds of thousands dead Iraqi/Afghan people, housing and banking crisis possibly averted in 2007/2008 since Bush and his administration probably wouldn't have been in office, etc.
