but they're still gonna share the big events. i.e. mania, summerslam, rumble, etc... because of that they will never really feel "separate".

plus one of the championships is bound to take a backseat to the other. waters down the whole thing. they can't both main event.

imo they can't have it both ways. they can't have two separate brands AND share the big ppv events. either treat them as separate entities or don't.

That makes them more special. Its like the CFB playoffs/Finals. Could be done similar to ROH/NJPW war of the worlds. They have to not whore out the crossovers though.

imo the main event feud should always feature the world champion. no one should be considered more important.

if there's someone else on the card that's a bigger and hotter star than the world champion, then that person probably shouldn't be champion to begin with.
