Going back to listen to both :banderas:

IAD is damn near flawless. It’s the album that finally sounds like a rapper who has Kanye and Pharrell as his go-to producers.

Storytelling- Brambleton
Classic ‘wtf is that beat :scusthov:’ street anthem- Diet Coke
Classic Jay feature- Neck & Wrist
Indy off kilter cult favorite type shyt- Rock n Roll
Grimy street shyt- Call My Bluff
Powerful track- clipse reunion :damn:Pray for You

Daytona is great but…it’s 7 songs :snoop: It just can’t compete. Depending on your tastes you probably dont like all 7 songs. To me only IYKYK, Santeria, and What would meek do are elite classic level songs. The rest are just ‘nice’ …7 ‘nice’ songs is not a classic. Peope forced that. We got IAD now no need to force Daytona. IAD is the masterpiece

None are flawless, but all good albums. Don't think he has got it exactly right yet, Daytona, just due to it's length is probably closest.

Brambelton was fire. Smokers Shine The Coops is raw.

If it didn't start with Brambleton I'd agree, it works better as a track 2 than an opener

Daytona is harmed by being so short imo

This feels like more of a complete project. If the former had like 3 more quality songs on it though…

SINY!!
All of his albums IMO are close to classic, not quite there but he comes awfully close. The thing for me has been his consistency.

Say what you will about the content, but as far as his lane goes he’s the best at it.

I hope the album he made with Madlib sees the light of day because if so, it could potentially top everything we’ve heard from him so far.

What i don’t understand is everyone so quick to throw the classic label on every above average album these days but Pusha’s last like 4 albums been way above average and don’t get that label.

I agree OP. I truly think Push might be the only rapper who outdoes himself with every project nh (if we’re not counting Clipse albums).

IAD > Daytona > DBD >>> MNIMN >> FoG 1 & 2
