set up a thread? you's a spooky nikka, it aint that serious to me

yet you brought it up outta nowhere :jbhmm: How long have you been obsessing over it?

please explain the point of voting for presidents who never follow thru with doing anything specific for black people specifically:lupe:

Never is a strong statement which will require receipts.

Voting has numerous benefits. It allows communities to unite on issues and more importantly, allows 'constituents' to form. So if more Black people vote, data can be created to show: "[example] 50 million Black people think x is an issue, and 40 mil are yes while 10 mil are no". And with data like that, minority candidates, especially Black ones, can feel comfortable running because they have good data. They can trust that their constituents will back them up.

I've just given you a free explanation. Now explain why anything I said in that previous post was a joke.

yes. That's how voting works, dummy. And not 'vote and forget'. Vote and continually hold the candidate accountable.

This smart-dumb "i aint gon vote because it da system" is the stupidest shyt ever. Almost all the people who say that aren't involved in their communities, don't give a fukk and certainly don't see the bigger picture.

I have friends who have worked on Capitol Hill, dislike Obama (yet voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils), are very involved in their communities and are actively trying to change the system. Point is, they understand the political process and are involved.

Fake-deeps from the sidelines aren't.

First time I've seen a good post from you

95% of black voters , voted for Obama, yet he didn't do anything specific for the black masses

:duck:

Probably the first time you weren't in your feelings over the subject matter.

I said explain, not "give short, vague response"
I was very specific:heh:
Black people are in the same conditions if not worse since Obama took office :heh:

What has he done specifically for black people
