And I'm somebody thar grew up with money that's now a poor adult.

I got an 1 bedroom apartment and zero in savings. No car. No health insurance. No 401k.



Black people the only people in this country that can experience downward mobility. White people can fail up here. It's anger inducing.

My question to you is, how is it you come from a self described well-to-do family and they can't help you get to a better place?

I'm gonna legit keep a close eye on what media my kids consume and make sure they get exposed to a large swathe of non-white media.

Hollywood did a number on people and low-key is one of the cornerstones of white supremacy.


From a young age we're all conditioned to empathize with the white underdog, root for the white hero, and be the sassy black sidekick/best friend that helps the white protagonist achieve self-actualisation. We fall in love with the white girl crush, if only she would realise what nice guys we are.

On the other hand white kids never learn to empathize with us and see themselves in the heroes, the underdogs, and the love interests. They end up believing the hype and end up with insane confidence levels. Low-key probably one of the reasons Karens are a thing and a white kid can walk up to the cops holding a rifle with all of the self-assurance in the world.

That level of self-belief serves them well and becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, while many black people struggle with self-hate, inferiority complexes and end up becoming c00ns.


It took me years to break the programming. Even though I knew I'd been been brainwashed by the media I still couldn't shake it, and probably never will completely.

In a way it is like an infinite tsukuyomi, but knowing you're in a genjutsu isn't enough to break the genjutsu.

I knew a dude in college that had a Lexus IS that his fam bought (tuition etc already paid for) but he got sick of it after driving it for about six months.
