It was just a slap....lol. Yes, it was wild the way it happened on live TV at the Oscars but if Will Smith slaps Chris Rock on the set of a movie... it'd just be "business as usual".

Wasn't that documentary just a "warning" of wearing weaves? Why were so many BW offended by it?

Not all black women were offended but there was a sizeable amount who were pissed at Chris Rock. They felt their “secret” was now known by white folk.

Which is crazy because it them who even indoctrinated us with the term “good hair”, so to think they had no idea about how much it is apart of our culture is naive at best.

And plenty of famous black women volunteered to go on that documentary and discuss the pressure to fit Hollywood’s standard of beauty but there was no smoke for them. It was seen as Chris Rock just trying to humiliate black women.

Now don’t get me wrong, I still believe Chris Rock has a lot of c00ning tendencies but I don’t believe that movie came from a malicious place, considering he has two black daughters who inspired the documentary to be made. But people let feelings get in the way of facts.
