Eddie you're still missed, breh.
You were so loved, even The Undertaker broke kayfabe for you on your birthday during an overseas tour:
I always remember what I was doing on that day too. I, for some reason on the day of his death, did not get on the computer, and when I was getting ready for work the next morning, I heard that he died. It crushed me. I tapped both the RAW and Smackdown tribute shows that week and ordered his 'Cheating Death and Stealing Life' DVD too. The beginning of the RAW in particular was just surreal and crazy.
I graduated high school in 2004 and if you had told me that both of the guys who were champions at the time would be dead in 3 years, I would have given you a

look.
I'm glad I can go back and watch all of his classics like when he and Rey wrestled at Havoc 97 or when he beat Brock for the title or when he put JBL on the map as a singles wrestler at Judgement Day by bleeding bucket loads of blood. I still wonder what that match with HBK at Mania 22 would have been like.
R.I.P.
