can you point me to your standard in this post? I can't find itBy progressing from theory to fact.
fact
fakt/
noun
- a thing that is indisputably the case
And I know science is doing this to a degree. But it's also dangerous when people think of things in a factual context, when it should be a "this is not a fact, but rather the best explanation we have at the moment" context. This is important because our beliefs impact heavily how we interpret and process information.
I'll leave it there since most heavy science types tend to get defensive in this kind of convo.
what are the criteria that you would use to take something from theory to fact or law?
