Be very careful if you purchase one because it MUST have hdmi 2.0 to support upcoming 4k blurays and a lot of tv's cant even stream netflix in 4k because they don't have support for the new codec netflix uses. Also, for my pc nikkas only the gtx 970 and 980 support hdmi 2.0 otherwise you MUST use display port to get 4k 60hz at 4:4:4 chroma, which is a big deal. Panasonic is the only 4k with display port that i know of, so that's really your only option.

Yeah, you pretty much gotta SLI even the 980s if you want 60fps 4k but also remember 4k has higher pixel density than 1080p so you dont need as much anti aliasing. 8x AA in 1080p = 2x AA in 4k so you can get much better frame rates in 4k by lowering AA and the picture not suffering.

Netflix And Amazon Prime both have 4K content RIGHT NOW
And they plan on adding a lot more next year, but still not the full catelog

To get it, you have to pay $12 a month instead of $9
Unless you tried to watch 4K content before Aug.12 of this year, then you would be grandfathered into the 4K upgraded plan
You can also stream to 4 TV's at once instead of 2 like it is now

I work in the electronics section of a retail store, we have a Samsung 4K set currently connected to a Philips 4K upscaling bd player, not bad at all. I've seen 4K before and the standard looping demo videos they supply to help sell the tv's. Now, I shot some 4K video with my Galaxy S5, threw the files on usb stick and plugged them into the tv... , blown away to say the least, coming from my phone and what the tv produced.

I am definitely onboard with a new Samsung 4K set early next year seeing how 4K BD's will be coming..........
