Yes...by maintaining 90% of their previous seasons roster but by adding Kevin Durant, some folks thought they would regress.

Those nikkas even got better on defense with the way Durant is blocking shots & protecting the rim.
Pretty much. The only people parroting that "Warriors got worse" narrative were the Charles Barkley/Skip Bayless's of the world and their Coli equivalents

nikkas already trying to change history and we haven't even reached the all star break yet. @SuaveHooper88 is the easy scapegoat but there was a group of doubters that was getting a lot daps up until a few weeks ago.

My one concern was the loss in interior presence but low-key, that Javale McGee pick up is looking almost brilliant.
They we're 23-0 this time last year, this year they are 20-3. They are having difficulty gettig accustomed to each other

They ALREADY have more losses at this point than last season. They are MUCH worse this season defensively, compared to last season, they have a weaker bench, and their offense isn't a fluid, and they turn the ball over even more.
They are not title contenders.
In a 7 game series the Clippers or Spurs will beat them. They will not even be in the finals this year.
Only a complete casual would think Golden State is as good as they were last season with roster changes they made. Durant was not what they needed, they fixed none of the issues they had last season and created more issues.
As I said before, if the Golden State Warriors win a championship this season I will close my account.

I mean.. Durant was a hoe through that entire timeframe. And this team is still absolutely unfairAt first it was "Durant is a hoe and y'all cheated"
Then it was "They lost and the team doesn't look like the 92 Dream Team!"
And now it's back to "Durant is a hoe and if y'all win it won't matter but I'm rooting Bron cus my team has no chance"
