Change is inevitable...
Yes...by maintaining 90% of their previous seasons roster but by adding Kevin Durant, some folks thought they would regress.
Exactly.Legit nobody credible said this
They essentially got KD/Zaza for Barnes/Bogut

Especially after that blowout loss to the Spurs in the season opener. There was a bunch of people saying the Warriors gutted their bench/they have no bigs or interior D/ the cavs and Spurs will beat them in the inside and their Ben he Don't act like y'all didn't see a gang of people saying that.
Golden State HAS regressednikkas already trying to change history and we haven't even reached the all star break yet. @SuaveHooper88 is the easy scapegoat but there was a group of doubters that was getting a lot daps up until a few weeks ago.
A month ago I would have fed your troll ass but now imma let you cook and read my sigGolden State HAS regressed?
Are you trolling right now?
They ALREADY have more losses at this point than last season. They are MUCH worse this season defensively, compared to last season, they have a weaker bench, and their offense isn't a fluid, and they turn the ball over even more.
They are not title contenders.
In a 7 game series the Clippers or Spurs will beat them. They will not even be in the finals this year.
As I said before, if the Golden State Warriors win a championship this season I will close my account.
I mean.. Durant was a hoe through that entire timeframe. And this team is still absolutely unfairAt first it was "Durant is a hoe and y'all cheated"
Then it was "They lost and the team doesn't look like the 92 Dream Team!"
And now it's back to "Durant is a hoe and if y'all win it won't matter but I'm rooting Bron cus my team has no chance"

Only a complete casual would think Golden State is as good as they were last season with roster changes they made. Durant was not what they needed, they fixed none of the issues they had last season and created more issues.

Another note of interest is the fact that the Warriors 1st half stats are FAR superior to their 2nd half stats, largely due to consistently blowing teams out. They've held significant early leads in all but 2 games, which has resulted in extended garbage time. Here are some of the large leads they've had in the past month.

Since November 8th, the Warriors are outscoring opponents 63.5 to 50.9 in the 1st half. The Warriors shooting splits are .543/.341/.787 62.4 eFG% while their opponents are .410/.284/.783 45.4 eFG%. That +12.6 margin in the 1st half in first overall in the league by a wide margin, the 2nd best team is +5.5 over the same span.
A team with 5 ALL NBA players in their prime are performing at an historic level!?!?!??Doesn't deserve its own thread but this is how they've been performing over the last month:
