I listen to throwback radio at work and it's mostly 00's shyt, old school concerts, 00's artists. It took a while because for a long time we haven't had any real distinct changes but we're are reaching the 20's and finally we can kind of say culture, entertainment and technology is becoming significantly different to the point that it's noticeable. I even hear people talking about how these miss the 00's and how great it was.

That crazy. 90's are basically the 80's now, 80's basically the 70's :wow:

I was just watching one of those "teens react" videos where they were listening to 00s music and at the end they were saying how music back then was better and more real and how we need to go back to it and I was :dead: because I'm 25 and I remember as a kid how much shyt people were talking about the music back then and how much better music was in the 90s and the 80s, literally word for word critiques except for another decade.

This shyt definitely a simulation

Yeah now people are nostalgic for that late 00s Lil Wayne esque rap even though a lot of people hated on it at the time.

I personally think the 00s is a pretty forgettable decade in some aspects, it was like an awkward point where the 90s vibe was totally dead but the technology hadn't matured to what it is now. Plus 00s music is pretty shytty, both pop and hip hop are better now (at least compared to post 2005)

yeah 2000s music was trash. it was okay up until about 06...but that shyt fell off a cliff after that. R&B still ain't recovered.

The 00s was a just a extension of the mid-late 90s

It's crazy how things can change in 10 years tho
Eh id say tha early to mid 00s.

You can't compare 09 to 99.

Tha proliferation of tha internet, social media and family & technology in general changed all tht. Plus tha recession too.

Edit: reminds of tha times when i was little when i thought years like 2011 were futuristic:russ: they would use tht year in games like cod 4.

It's 2018 now:sadcam:

Interesting conversations. Always thought that 98-99 were waaaaaaaaaaaay different from 90-96, with 97 acting as a transitional year. 00-01 (9/11) seemed like an extension of those years. Mid-00's felt like a transitional period until Obama. This was really where the power of Social Media started taking over. I think 2011-2012 with their Occupy Movements, KONY, and rise of Kickstarters, really got us into the boring period we're in now.
